SALVATION

I am so glad you’re here today, no matter what has brought you. God’s presence is evident all around us—in the beauty of His creation and the works of His hands. He promises that when we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us. Often, it’s through our deepest struggles that our eyes are finally opened to the reality of God’s presence. I am excited for you and the incredible journey that lies ahead. Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Keep your eyes fixed on Christ, setting Him before you in everything, and He will faithfully complete the good work He begins in you today.

Here are some verses for you to reflect on.

John 3:16-17 AMP

“For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world, that He even gave His One and only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him as Savior shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge and condemn the world that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

Romans 10:9-10 AMP

If you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes in Christ as Savior resulting in his justification that is, being made righteous—being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses his faith openly, resulting in and confirming his salvation.

Romans 10:13 AMP

For “WHOEVER CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD in prayer WILL BE SAVED.”

Acts 2:38 AMP

And Peter said to them, “Repent change your old way of thinking, turn from your sinful ways, accept and follow Jesus as the Messiah and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ because of the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 16:31-33 AMP

“Believe in the Lord Jesus as your personal Savior and entrust yourself to Him and you will be saved, you and your household if they also believe.” And they spoke the word of the Lord concerning eternal salvation through faith in Christ to him and to all who were in his house. And he took them that very hour of the night and washed their bloody wounds, and immediately he was baptized, he and all his household.

He who has believed in Me and has been baptized will be saved from the penalty of God’s wrath and judgment; but he who has not believed will be condemned.

Acts 22:16 AMP

Now, why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins by calling on His name for salvation.’

John 14:6 AMP

Romans 6:4 AMP

We have therefore been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory and power of the Father, we too might walk habitually in newness of life abandoning our old ways.

1 Peter 3:21 AMP

Baptism which is an expression of a believer’s new life in Christ now saves you, not by removing dirt from the body, but by an appeal to God for a good clear conscience, demonstrating what you believe to be yours through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Romans 6:23 AMP

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God that is, His remarkable, overwhelming gift of grace to believers is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Ephesians 2:8 AMP

For it is by grace God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ that you have been saved actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life through faith.

Acts 4:12 AMP

There is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among people by which we must be saved for God has provided the world no alternative for salvation.

2 Peter 3:9 AMP

The Lord does not delay as though He were unable to act and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is extraordinarily patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

Romans 5:8 AMP

But God clearly shows and proves His own love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Acts 2:21 AMP

‘AND IT SHALL BE THAT EVERYONE WHO CALLS UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD invoking, adoring, and worshiping the Lord Jesus SHALL BE SAVED rescued spiritually.’

Acts 3:19 AMP

So repent change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins and return to God—seek His purpose for your life, so that your sins may be wiped away blotted out, completely erased, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord restoring you like a cool wind on a hot day.

Acts 17:30 AMP

Therefore God overlooked and disregarded the former ages of ignorance; but now He commands all people everywhere to repent that is, to change their old way of thinking, to regret their past sins, and to seek God’s purpose for their lives.
