Now to Him who is able to carry out His purpose and do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen. (Eph 3:20-21 AMP)
We may have prayed this prayer many times, seeking God's hand to work good in our lives. We lay our requests, our hopes, and our dreams before Him with anticipation and expectation. But let us take a moment to pause. Let us recognize, acknowledge, and understand what God has already done, what He has already accomplished, and what He has already put into place.
God has set the stage for us in Christ, granting us what humanity has longed for since the beginning of time. What we have desired and hoped for all our lives, He has done. Infinitely beyond all we could ask or imagine has been laid before us. We are co-heirs with Christ, filled with the Holy Spirit, lights to the world, and imitators of God Himself.
We now possess within us, in our hearts and minds, all spiritual blessings in the heavenly realms. God has laid a foundation for His superabundance to be played out in our lives.
Next time we go before Him, let us take a moment to acknowledge that what we may be asking for may have already been accomplished within us all along, yet not perceived.
Today, let us see beyond ourselves. Let us believe in something far grander than words can express. Let us step into His creation, His plan, and His work. Let us glorify Him with a Hallelujah. Hallelujah!
