God Loves You

Ephesians 3:16-19 AMP

May He grant you out of the riches of His glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit in your inner self, indwelling your innermost being and personality, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through your faith. And may you, having been deeply rooted and securely grounded in love, be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints God’s people the width and length and height and depth of His love fully experiencing that amazing, endless love; and that you may come to know practically, through personal experience the love of Christ which far surpasses mere knowledge without experience, that you may be filled up throughout your being to all the fullness of God so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself.

Life can be challenging. The cares of this world can often overshadow our spiritual mindset, preventing us from seeing ourselves as we truly are in Christ and distracting us from what is most important—those things which are eternal and part of our new life in Him. But God meets us right where we are, regardless of our circumstances. He calls us to take a step—not necessarily a giant leap, but a step forward—trusting that He will meet us along the way.

In those moments, we slow down and call upon His name, asking Him to quiet our hearts. We ask God to still the distractions, heartaches, worries, and anxieties, so that we might see from His perspective and not our own. We seek the strength to look beyond ourselves, enabling us to rise above what holds us down, keeping us from fully experiencing Him.

As we take those steps forward, God meets us with strength. He spiritually energizes us with power through His Spirit in our inner self. As He indwells our innermost being and personality, we find what we need to continue walking with Him, knowing that we can handle the next step. Step by step, as we focus on who we are in Christ, despite the chaos around us or the emotions we feel, God’s way and perspective become clearer. We begin to see ourselves as He sees us and embrace the new life we have in Him.

Our reality, despite our struggles or the distractions of this world, is that in Christ, we are deeply rooted and grounded in His love. This is the spiritual strength we possess in Him. His words are unquestionably true, steadfast, and secure. We can trust Him as our reality, no matter how we perceive ourselves in relation to the world. As we walk in His way, His words, who He says we are, and what He says our new position with Him is, become deeply ingrained within us.

God has made us new, recreated beings, reflecting His righteousness and holiness. We are fully capable of grasping and experiencing the fullness of His love—all that He has given us, all He has made us, and all He has planned for us. God has not left us alone. He holds the power to make us who He says we are. (Philippians 1:6 AMP) "I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will continue to perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus the time of His return." (1 Thessalonians 5:24 AMP) "Faithful and absolutely trustworthy is He who is calling you to Himself for your salvation, and He will do it. He will fulfill His call by making you holy, guarding you, watching over you, and protecting you as His own."

As God’s reality permeates our minds, it replaces the old reality we had before Christ. God has declared that we are a new creation—the old is gone, and the new has come. Yet, as we walk by faith, we see ourselves continually being clothed with our new self, our new nature. In this process, as our minds renew and our lives transform, we still see remnants of the old self, which God lovingly removes. Don't despair—this walk with Christ is a process. It’s not about what we can accomplish; it’s about trusting God, freeing ourselves from self-focus, and looking to Him to guide us through. This is God’s process, and He knows it well. Through it, we come to see God’s love practically and personally working in our lives. Our minds change, our hearts change, and our lives change as our old reality is replaced with God’s reality. This is the process of being filled with God.

God says to us, I will give you strength, spiritually energizing you so that you may see as I see. I will stay in step with you as you move forward, so that you may come to fully know and understand that I dwell within you through my Spirit—that you are my living temple. My reality will become your reality through your faith in Me. Know that I hold you steadfast and secure in my love, deeply rooted and grounded in me, my hold on you immovable and impenetrable. You are free to experience me. I have made you, and you are indeed capable of comprehending the width, length, height, and depth of my love for you. You will see this love work in and through you to bring about all I have set in motion within you. I tell you, in your life, you will come to be filled and even flooded throughout your being with my full presence.

May we step out today deeper into God’s reality. Through His love, may we richly experience His presence in us and take part in all He has prepared for us.

God loves you.
